Presents
We have previously discussed how store owners can set the number of loyalty points they can earn when purchasing products, as well as, in the case of product categories, when purchasing products from that category.

NOTE: Loyalty points can only be earned by registered customers who are logged in when placing an order.
But what can registered customers do with the loyalty points they collect?
This is where Presents come into play. Presents are a special type of product that registered customers can purchase using their loyalty points.
Presents have a separate listing page that is only available to logged-in customers.
Let's take a closer look at "Presents" and how Sellvio handles them.
The Presents administration screen can be accessed from the administration sidebar under the Webshop → Presents menu item.
- Name - the name of the product.
- Points - the number of loyalty points required to purchase one unit of the given product.
- Active - indicates whether the given product is active in a given language. If a product is not active for a language, it will not be available and will not appear on the demos page.
- To search for a product, simply enter its name in the search bar and click the "magnifying glass" icon.
- By clicking the "edit" button, store owners can modify existing presents.
- If a present is no longer needed, store owners can delete it by clicking the "trash" button.
- New presents can be created at any time by clicking the "Add New" button.
Add and edit present products
Present-type products have a simpler structure, as they do not have their own detailed page reserved for this purpose.
General tab
- Name - the name of the product.
- Points - the number of loyalty points required to purchase one unit of the given product.
- Active - indicates whether the given product is active in the default language of the store.
- Short description - a short paragraph that provides concise information about this product.
- Image - an image of this product.
Translations tab
On the Translations tab, store owners can specify translations of the "Title" and "Lead Text" in all other languages used in the store.
In order for a product to be available and listed in a given language, the "Active" option must also be enabled.
How should products be displayed to customers in the store?
As mentioned, this page and the presents are only available to logged in users.
After logging in, the Presents page can be accessed by clicking on the "present" icon in the webshop header.
The Presentspage displays all points collected by the customer, which can be used to purchase presents, as well as a list of all presents available in the web store.
Purchasing presents is not part of the default checkout process. They are ordered directly from a quick order window and are not added to the cart.
